Code Text Crop Buffer zone
NT146 Travelling speed must not exceed 7.5 km/h during application.
NT145-1 The product must be applied using a water volume of at least 300 l/ha. The product must be applied using equipment which is registered in the index of 'Loss Reducing Equipment' of 10 Sep-tember 2013 (Federal Gazette AT 23.10.2013 B4) as amended, at least in drift reduction class 90 %. Deviating from the specifications in the index of 'Loss Reducing Equipment', the terms for use must be observed for the entire area to be treated.
WH9161 The instructions for use must include a summary of weeds which can be controlled well, less well and insufficiently by the product, as well as a list of species and/or varieties showing which crops are tolerant of the intended application rate and which are not.
NW642-1 The product may not be applied in or in the immediate vicinity of surface or coastal waters. Irrespective of this, the minimum buffer zone from surface waters stipulated by state law must be observed. Violations may be punished by fines of up to 50 000 EUR.
VA320 The following applies for the protection of uninvolved third parties (bystanders and residents). Drift-reducing equipment with a drift reduction class of at least 90 % must be used when applying the plant protection product on a strip at least 20 metres wide next to adjacent areas used by uninvolved third parties. Appropriate application technology and conditions of use are specified in the list of 'Loss Reducing Equipment' as published on 10 September 2013 (BAnz AT 23.10.2013 B4), as amended.

This can be done, for example, by putting up appropriate warning signs prohibiting access to the treated area. This does not apply if there are country-specific regulations that stipulate deviating prohibitions of entry that correspond at least to the scope described in the first sentence.
SF274-2 Successive work/inspections on/in treated areas/crops may not be carried out until 2 days after applying the product.
NW706 Between treated areas which have an incline of more than 2 % and surface waters - including periodically but excluding occasionally water-bearing surface waters- there must be a buffer zone under complete plant cover. The buffer zone's protective function must not be impaired by the use of implements. It must be at least 20 m wide. This buffer zone is not necessary if: -sufficient catching systems are available for the water and soil transported by run-off, which do not flow into surface water o
